When being good-at-life backfires

So this past week I attempted a too-good-to-be-true-trademark-good-at-life move, I switched my cable and Internet providers in an attempt to save money. Now I’m without Internet  — until I can get it set-up — and let me tell you how much I miss the warm glow of my desktop computer slightly humming to me to sleep at night.

Needless to say I’ll be posting more later this week, but I did want to do a quick post on some requests I’ve received from reporters looking for people that fit the following trends. Below are the two requests.

1.An ABC producer is looking for families affected by being laid off. It’s for a popular television program. If you know someone that fits — email me and I’ll pass along your information to the producer.

2. A reporter is looking to talk to unemployed professionals who are taking jobs that usually go to teenagers. Again, if you know someone — or if it’s you — email and I’ll pass along your information to the reporter.

I will say from my posts last week that I’m taking control back and it feels good. The roar of unemployment empowerment can be felt when you’re employed and I’m just figuring that out now.  Artie has been a good and stable hero for me. Remaining true to myself and acknowledgeing who I am, and what I’m good at, only helps me grow more.
