This blog started as a way for Rachel to continue writing and keep her sanity. It's been a year of change and growth. She has since found full time employment and as such these are her thoughts, opinions, ramblings and not those of her past or present employer. She will continue to blog her about about how life changes when you've been forced to examine your own weaknesses and learn rely on yourself to get by.

She expanded Tales From the Recently Laid Off to include her fellow under-employed friend, Scott Pierce. Please welcome him and be sure to save his place in line for EDD -- we can all use all the help we can get.

Both Rachel and Scott reside in San Francisco and welcome any dried beans, peanut butter or cake mixes people choose to send them.
