Join me for LaidOff Camp

LaidOff Camp

LaidOff Camp is like Space Camp but without the astronaut food, space ships or intergalactic missions. I know I am sad I never went to Space Camp. I blame both Nickelodeon in the early 90s for all those infomercials and being stuck in Ohio for never getting to go up into space. Well there’s that and my complete lack of mathematical skills. It’s all good though. Now I have LaidOff Camp to fall back on.

LaidOff Camp is a day camp for the unemployed. We may not have ants on log or ice cream, but we’re sure to have an opportunity to network, learn better ways to budget, — so that at least I stop falling off the money wagon — and a day to get out of our apartments. Employed people are welcome too, just don’t take our jobs. Totally kidding.

Here’s the info for LaidOff Camp in SF on March 3, 2009. Although more cities are starting their own LaidOff Camps as well. Don’t get left behind this time. I missed my chance at Space Camp. This time around I’m not missing LaidOff Camp.
