A lesson from Charlotte: keep your chin up

Happy salutations! Nothing like tea, a bagel with peanut butter — totally aside but peanut butter is like the best unemployed food ever — and the Internet to start your morning. Look at me good at life, saving the environment being green and earthy-ish and staying positive. I deserve a salt lick for this. Second thought, I’ll wait until the weekend just in case I fall off the good at life wagon.

This morning MSNBC stated that unemployment benefits claims continues to rise and laid off workers are having a difficult time finding a job. I don’t want to be too presumptuous but is anyone surprised? I hear of more layoffs and impending doom and gloom from friends, and family. But at least that writer still has a job, and the news must solider on, so for now I’ll just keep my mouth shut and blog about it.

The increase in continuing claims is an indication that many newly laid off workers are having difficulty finding jobs.

Economists consider jobless claims a timely, if volatile, indicator of the health of the labor markets and broader economy. A year ago, initial claims stood at about 359,000. Associated Press

Chin up, kids. It’ll be okay. We have peanut butter, an excellent source of protein, that can be eaten out of the jar with jelly on the off chance you run out of bread. It’s a full meal minus the carbs. Yum!

Oh, they recalled all the peanut butter products recently, coz everything that has peanut butter has Salmonella.
  • I know but I still love it and I still eat it. Nothing is gonna hold me down from eating my peanut butter.
